We are seeking a Health and Safety Lead to join our driven and high‑performing team at our Silverstone HQ. Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, embedding a strong safety‑first culture, and making risk management and governance an integral part of everything we do. Partnering with colleagues across manufacturing, operations, HR, and quality, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our ambition to consistently compete at the very top of the Championship. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety policies and procedures across all areas of the facility.
  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Support and continuously develop the team’s ISO45001 standards and maturity across the business.
  • Manage and coach H&S coordinators, ensuring their development is aligned with team and company goals.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement strategies to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Champion safety culture through training, behavioural change programmes, toolbox talks, and safety committees.
  • Ensure all employees are trained in safe equipment operation, PPE use, and emergency procedures.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships to ensure H&S is fully embedded in all operational planning and delivery.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislation, standards, and best practice, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Drive employee engagement through proactive communication, safety initiatives, and daily visibility across the site.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Qualifications: NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) desirable.
  • Strong experience in conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
  • Previous experience in a Formula One™, manufacturing or high‑performance engineering environment would be advantageous.
  • Excellent administrative and reporting skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and deliver under pressure.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to influence, coach, and inspire others.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the business.
  • Passionate about cultivating a safety‑first culture, with proven ability to deliver behavioural change programmes.
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and results‑focused, with sound decision‑making skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Health & Safety and continuous improvement.
