Job summary

Howden UK&I is seeking a Data Insights Analyst to join the Data Science & Analytics team. You will analyse customer behaviour, market performance, and operational trends, developing reporting solutions that enable strategic decisions.

A focus on health insurance data will complement broader data initiatives across the business. You will partner with Product Managers, BI, Data Science, and Data Engineering to turn complex data into actionable insights, supporting growth and improved outcomes in a

Qualifications

Proven experience applying statistical and analytical techniques to generate insights.
Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar BI tools.
Strong SQL skills for extracting, manipulating, and analysing large datasets.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Keen interest in insurance products and how data supports underwriting, pricing, and performance.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions and data visualisations for stakeholders.
Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and driving KPIs to support decisions.
Ensure data accuracy through validation, cleansing, and quality monitoring.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and gather requirements.
Present findings and recommendations in a clear, measurable form.
