Job summary

Howden Group Holdings is seeking a Data Insights Analyst to join the Data Science & Analytics team within Howden UK&I. You will analyse data, develop reporting solutions, and present insights to drive strategic decisions in the health insurance market.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, BI, Data Science, Data Engineering and business teams to uncover opportunities, improve customer outcomes, and support growth with clear storytelling and data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience applying statistical and analytical techniques to derive insights.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to present complex findings clearly.
• Strong SQL skills for extracting and analyzing large datasets.
• Keen interest in insurance products; ability to learn quickly.
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting solutions and data visualisations for stakeholders.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and KPIs to inform decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality through validation and cleansing.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and gather requirements for analytical solutions.
• Support stakeholders in interpreting KPIs and aligning with objectives.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
