Job summary

Operose Health Ltd is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant to support primary care operations. The role emphasizes phlebotomy and patient checks, assisting clinicians, and ensuring smooth patient care pathways. Salary is up to £30,000 per year, for a 15 hours/week commitment.

You will help with administrative tasks, registrations and compliance, while maintaining data security and professional boundaries in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting and phlebotomy.
• Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain data security.
• Adapt with changing priorities and be personable, polite and patient with our patients.
• Basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email.
• Use own judgement while maintaining professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient duties and supporting clinicians with patient care.
• Supporting the Practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and ensuring compliance.
• Experience with patients with long-term conditions such as Diabetes; must have phlebotomy experience.
• Providing clinical procedures such as new patient health checks, BMI, blood pressure, pulse and wound care.
• Completing administrative tasks including new patient registrations, leaflets, stock control and ordering.

Main Responsibilities

As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:

• Assisting with patient duties as required and support other team members such as clinical and Nurse Lead with patient care.
• Supporting the Practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and ensuring compliance is maintained.
• You will be working with patients with long term conditions such as Diabetes etc. So must have experience in Phlebotomy.
• Provide clinical procedures such as new patient health checks, BMI, blood pressure, pulse and simple wound care.
• Completing administrative tasks such as new patient registrations, providing appropriate leaflets, stock control and ordering.
