Job summary

The Loxford Practice in Ilford is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support our GP team with patient care and admin tasks. Salary is £26,500 per year, for 37.5 hours per week.

GP practice experience and phlebotomy are required. You will assist with health checks, measurements, wound care, and registrations while maintaining patient confidentiality and high care standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Primary Care setting and phlebotomy.
• Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email.
• Ability to use own judgement and be aware of professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient duties as required and support other team members such as clinical and Nurse Lead with patient care.
• Supporting the Practice with duties related to CQC outcomes and ensuring compliance is maintained.
• You will be working with patients with long term conditions such as Diabetes; experience in phlebotomy is required.
• Provide clinical procedures such as new patient health checks, BMI, blood pressure, pulse and simple wound care.
• Completing administrative tasks such as new patient registrations, providing leaflets, stock control and ordering.

Main Responsibilities:
