Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor – Trainee OR Qualified

Location: Birmingham and surrounding areas – Home/Field based (must be flexible with travel).

Salary – Trainee: £25,000+ BONUS up to £12,000 p/a

Salary – Qualified: £27,000+ BONUS up to £12,000 p/a

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of 3‑5 years occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly) at Senior Carer level or above.
• Confident to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
• Good level of ICT skills.
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 3.
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
• Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners’ needs.
• Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
