Are you a dynamic and talented professional looking to make an impact in the field of Health and Safety? We have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be managing a team to ensure the effective running of the Health & Safety (H&S) Management System and all of its components. Your focus will be on ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies, maintaining a high standard of H&S for all employees and stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in H&S performance, where leadership and senior stakeholder management will be crucial.

Your role will involve managing the H&S team and framework to ensure effective implementation of the Zurich UK Policy and compliance with regulatory standards. You will focus on Zurich-occupied properties and employees working away from their normal office environment. Effective communication with stakeholders will be vital.
You will keep abreast of legal and regulatory developments, analyze reported incidents, operate an annual site audit/test program, and oversee risk assessments to mitigate risks.
You will also manage resources to ensure effective design and operation of H&S processes within the UK, collaborating with local managers, and providing guidance and support on H&S issues.
We seek a committed individual with relevant qualifications and practical experience in a related industry. Experience in people management, leadership, and fostering a positive H&S culture is essential.
