Team Lead - HSEQ/CDM Recruitment Specialist in the Built Environment

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a reputable civils and groundworks contractor as a Senior Health, Safety & Environmental Manager. The role requires proactive management of processes and driving compliance across operations, with a focus on civil engineering hazards and projects.

Reporting to the board, your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting in-depth safety and accident investigations to high standards
2. Attending senior health and safety meetings to advise management and external clients
3. Reviewing, improving, and approving Health and Safety plans
4. Monitoring and reporting on Health and Safety performance
5. Managing CDM across all schemes, including submitting F10s and compiling CPPs
6. Managing subcontractors and coaching on-site safety practices

You should be skilled in coaching and mentoring personnel, controlling safety outputs on-site, and ensuring compliance across diverse risk portfolios. The ideal candidate will be:

1. An excellent communicator, comfortable building relationships from site to board level
2. H&S Diploma-qualified
3. Well-versed in CDM 2015, including compilation of CPPS and F10s
4. Experienced in civil engineering hazards, especially groundworks and utilities
5. Proficient in implementing and maintaining management systems
