Job description

HSE Manager

This is a unique and challenging opportunity to take on multi-site responsibility across an expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing business that aims to strengthen its approach to consistent Health and Safety management. Having advanced over the past two years through successful projects to increase manufacturing capacity and headcount, Health and Safety remains a key focus.

While this role is multi-site focused, it requires a hands-on approach to all aspects of Health and Safety, not just oversight.

The manufacturing environment's unique nature necessitates previous experience in radiation and/or radioactivity. This includes creating consistent procedures and supporting local site challenges to maintain compliance.

As the business plans to expand its facilities, the HSE Manager will also be responsible for developing new documentation and implementing processes.

This position is primarily remote, with an expectation to travel to each site approximately once a month. Flexibility within the UK is essential, and a car or car allowance is included in the benefits package.

Initially, there will be a requirement to spend 3 days on-site at a South-East Surrey facility within the first 6 months to address immediate challenges.
