Main Contractor | Major Build Projects (£20m - £60m)

We are working with a leading UK main contractor renowned for delivering high-value, technically complex build projects across the Midlands and beyond. Due to sustained growth and a strong order book, they are now looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager to be based in Crewton, Derby.

What You'll Be Doing

As Health & Safety Manager, you'll take full responsibility for HSEQ across multiple construction projects ranging from £20m to £60m. You will play a key role in shaping and implementing best practices across the business, ensuring all operations comply with statutory regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

1. Lead on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management across live projects
2. Develop and maintain robust site H&S procedures and documentation
3. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and investigations
4. Provide guidance and training to site teams and subcontractors
5. Liaise with the leadership team to drive a proactive safety culture

1. Proven experience in a main contracting environment (essential)
2. Background working on sizeable construction projects (£20m+)
3. NEBOSH qualified (essential)
