Senploy is seeking a compassionate Headteacher to lead a Scunthorpe school for students with complex SEN needs. You will set an ambitious, inclusive curriculum, uphold safeguarding standards and build a dedicated, high-performing team.

With QTS and SEN expertise, you will drive progress aligned with IS Standards and EIF while prioritising wellbeing and EHCP objectives. The role sits within the Polaris Community, offering strong collaboration and Professional Development opportunities.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary/secondary teaching experience.
• NPQH is desirable but not essential.
• Experience working with students with SEN and a deep understanding of their needs.

Responsabilidades

• Educational Leadership: develop a vision aligned with Polaris Community ethos, ensure Independent School Standards and EIF compliance.
• Safeguarding: act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and implement safeguarding policies.
• Curriculum Enhancement: tailor curriculum to diverse needs and ensure engaging learning.
• Pastoral Care and SEN Advocacy: support emotional wellbeing and EHCP objectives.
• Staff Development: mentor staff and foster professional growth.
• Community Engagement: build relationships with parents, carers and partners.
