Job summary

Isle of Man Government seeks a Headteacher for Manor Park Primary School to lead a school community focused on ambition, inclusion and excellence for every child. You will unite pupils, staff, parents and governors to deliver high-quality teaching and strong outcomes.

About the role

Could you lead a school community where ambition, inclusion and excellence shape every child's experience?

As Headteacher at Manor Park Primary School, you'll provide the leadership that brings together pupils, staff, parents and governors behind a shared ambition for the school. Building on strong foundations, you'll create the conditions for high-quality teaching, positive outcomes and a culture where every child is supported to succeed both academically and personally.

You'll shape the future direction of the school by setting high expectations, driving continuous improvement and ensuring every pupil has the opportunity to reach their potential. Working closely with staff, families and the wider school community, you'll foster an inclusive environment where achievement is celebrated, wellbeing is valued and everyone is encouraged to contribute to the school's success

If you're an existing Headteacher or an accomplished Deputy Headteacher with substantial leadership experience, a proven record of driving school improvement and a commitment to inclusive, child-centred education, we would be delighted to hear from you.

• Competitive salary that increases each 12 months until you reach the salary maximum.
• Subject to meeting eligibility criteria, you will be offered two pensions arrangements: the Teachers Superannuation scheme or the Isle of Man Government Defined Contribution (DC) arrangement.

• For those returning to the island after graduating from university, you will receive a refund on your national insurance contributions during the first 12 months of your employment, up to £4,400.
