Job summary

Isle of Man Government is seeking a Head of Business Support to lead strategic and operational activities across education services, governance and quality assurance. About the role

Could you use your experience to shape how a Department delivers its priorities, strengthens governance and drives continuous improvement across education services?

Join the Department of Education, Sport & Culture as our Head of Business Support, where you'll work closely with senior leaders to provide strategic and operational leadership across key corporate functions. From overseeing governance arrangements and quality assurance processes to leading high profile projects and strategic workstreams, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting effective decision making and ensuring departmental priorities are translated into meaningful outcomes.

This is an opportunity to lead significant initiatives while building strong relationships across schools, educational services and corporate functions. You'll provide clear direction, support continuous improvement and help ensure priorities are delivered to a high standard. Working closely with senior leaders, you'll have the autonomy to influence key decisions, shape improvement activity and see your work make a visible impact across the Department.
