Launched in November 2016, Sumosan Twiga is the result of a visionary partnership between the master of Japanese cuisine, Sumosan, and the brand Twiga. Located in London’s luxurious Knightsbridge neighbourhood, our exclusive venue offers a unique blend of sophistication, culinary excellence, and vibrant nightlife.

As a Head Waiter/Waitress, you play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of your section during our dinner service. Working closely with our restaurant and bar teams, you will deliver impeccable service. Sumosan Twiga comes alive in the evenings and remains bustling until late night, requiring you to work until the late hours as part of our elite FOH team.

You will be responsible for:

• Lead a specific section within our dining area, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Inspire and motivate your commis and runners to consistently achieve high standards throughout service.
• Be the primary point of contact for guest requests, resolving them promptly and professionally.
• Promote and upsell our food and beverage offerings while taking orders and closing bills in your designated area.
• Maintain the cleanliness of your designated dining area to meet company standards, always creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Inform the Restaurant Manager of any issues to ensure quick and effective resolution.
• Excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where quality and guest satisfaction are top priorities.

Who are you?

• At least 2 years experience in fine dining restaurant or similar environment will be beneficial.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Legal right to work in UK.
