About the role

Are you a registered veterinary nurse looking to take the next step in your career and feel ready for a leadership position? If the answer is yes then have you considered working with us at Vine Tree. Vine Tree is currently looking for a new Head Nurse, to help guide and grow a caring and dedicated team of veterinary nurses, in a progressive and supportive environment. The Head Nurse role is a hands on leadership position, providing you with the chance to make a real difference. You will be working to support the practice develop and providing mentorship to a team of 2 Veterinary nurses, with great opportunity to pursue your own areas of clinical interest.

The position is for 40 hours a week across 4 or 5 days, with a 1:4 Saturday rota, although part time candidates will also be considered. We don't operate out of hours or on call, allowing for you to maintain your work life balance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to a team of 2 registered nurses.
  • Support the practice development and contribute to clinical growth and service quality.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver high standards of patient care.
