Job summary

Matchtech seeks a Head of Services (UK) to lead the UK marine engineering services transformation, spanning commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades and life-extension across vessels and onboard systems. Based in Southampton, you will integrate the recently acquired business into a single, scalable operation with responsibility for performance and delivery.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience within maritime, offshore, engineering or technical services.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development capability.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary operational teams.
• Track record of delivering organisational change, growth and/or post-acquisition integration.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with a practical, delivery-focused approach.
• Technical education and/or strong relevant industry experience.
• Fluent in English.
• No sponsorship available (right to work required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and further develop the UK services organisation.
• Drive the successful integration of the newly acquired business into a single, scalable operation.
• Deliver safe, efficient and profitable service delivery (multi-discipline engineering environment).
• Develop customer relationships and support business growth.
• Lead a team of approximately 40 employees, managing through a leadership team.
• Own operational performance and contribute directly to financial results.
• Build a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Represent the business within the UK maritime market.
