Job summary

Matchtech is seeking an organised Marine Works Coordinator to join a busy marine services operation in Pembroke Dock. The role is primarily operational coordination, managing vessel maintenance, repairs, refits and inspections, and ensuring resources and schedules keep multiple projects moving.

You'll work with customers, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to plan work across projects and workstreams, maintain accurate records and communicate updates.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel maintenance, repair, refit, survey and inspection activities.
• Plan and schedule work across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Coordinate engineers, tradespeople, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure efficient delivery of work.
• Ensure materials, equipment and operational resources are available when required.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues and respond to changing priorities.
• Manage urgent and reactive repair work alongside planned maintenance activities.
• Work closely with operational, technical and administrative teams to ensure jobs are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard.
• Record and communicate additional works or changes to project scope.
• Maintain accurate job records, schedules and customer information.
• Support the efficient running of day-to-day operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
