You will lead the Business Winning team, shape long-term strategy, and collaborate across functions to secure new opportunities for warships, submarines and marine systems.

We seek a credible leader with deep maritime portfolio knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to inspire teams to achieve ambitious targets.

Qualifications

• Significant business development experience in defence/Maritime sector.
• Direct experience dealing with international customers and cultures.
• Proven leadership ability to coach and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Be a strategic senior leadership team member, modelling company values.
• Own and drive the full financial performance against targets.
• Lead a people-centric team, developing high performance and engagement.
• Lead Business Winning activities to achieve the Annual Operating Plan and strategic vision.
• Navigate a matrixed environment with key customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure the BU offers attractive, high win-probability proposals.
• Develop and maintain business cases for strategic investments.
• Create KPIs to drive improved approaches and outcomes.
• Grow new markets and routes to market, supporting sales in closing opportunities.
