Job summary

Places Leisure, part of Places for People, seeks a Head of Business Change & Transformation to lead the long-term transformation strategy across Commercial Operations. You will work with technology teams and regional directors to streamline processes, implement data-driven dashboards and governance, and align systems with operational needs.

You will own the transformation roadmap, prioritise programmes for measurable business outcomes, and plan for readiness, training and adoption across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience leading business change, transformation, or operating model development within a complex, multi-site organisation.
• Evidence of using process improvement tools such as Lean or Six Sigma to improve efficiency.
• Experience owning data, reporting or BI roadmaps, including data definitions and governance.
• Experience partnering with technology teams to define business requirements and shape system roadmaps.
• Experience developing transformation roadmaps that connect processes, data and customer/colleague experience to measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term transformation agenda across Commercial Operations.
• Review end-to-end processes, simplify ways of working and reduce duplication.
• Set standards and governance for operating procedures; ensure new systems and dashboards meet needs.
• Own the transformation roadmap and ensure programmes deliver measurable benefits.
• Coordinate with central support, regional directors and operations; travel 2–3 days/week.
