Job summary

EDClass Ltd is seeking an experienced Head of Teaching and Learning (KS1–KS4) to lead pedagogical excellence across 20 on-site teachers and peak-demand online tutors. The role focuses on coaching, raising standards, and delivering high-quality live digital instruction.

You will own timetabling, studio operations, and curriculum delivery for English, Maths, Science, and core/non-core subjects, while driving assessment and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• NPQH/NPQSL/NPQEL required
• Secondary teaching background and a degree in a relevant subject
• QTS gained in the United Kingdom

Responsibilities

• Lead pedagogical excellence across KS1–KS4 with 20 on-site teachers and online tutors.
• Own timetable and studio operations across live teaching studios.
• Drive quality assurance via live observations, teacher-talk monitoring, and work scrutiny.
• Lead curriculum delivery across core and non-core subjects, aligning with GCSE specs.
• Liaise with MATs and local authorities to diagnose learning deficits and plan interventions.
• Deliver keynote presentations at national conferences and EDChampion Days.
• Ensure Ofsted and DfE readiness with audit-ready data and tracking.
