Job summary

EDClass Ltd is seeking an experienced senior educational leader to serve as Head of Teaching and Learning (KS1–KS4). The role focuses on pedagogical excellence, coaching, and raising standards across 20 on-site teachers and peak online tutors.

You will lead curriculum, timetabling, and quality assurance, collaborating with MATs and local authorities to improve pupil outcomes and ensure compliance with Ofsted and DfE guidelines.

Qualifications

• NPQH/NPQSL/NPQEL required
• Secondary-teaching background essential
• QTS holder preferred
• Degree in a relevant subject required

Responsibilities

• Lead teaching and learning across KS1–KS4 with 20 on-site and online teachers.
• Oversee timetable, studio operations, and room allocations.
• Ensure high instructional standards through quality assurance and data reviews.
• Drive curriculum delivery aligned with GCSE specs and UK frameworks.
• Engage with local authorities and MATs to support pupil progress.
• Represent EDClass in Ofsted and DfE evaluations and compliance.
