Job summary

Swanton Care & Community in Colne is seeking a Service Manager to lead a brand-new supported living service from the outset. You will shape the service, establish a welcoming, person-centred environment, and ensure outstanding support daily.

You will build and lead a motivated care team, oversee care planning, risk assessments, and records, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliant, high-quality services for residents.

Qualifications

• Previous care management experience, ideally within a supported living environment.
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care, be working towards it, or hold an equivalent qualification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment.
• The ability to provide inspiring, motivational leadership and drive quality.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring high standards of care and support.
• Lead, support, and motivate staff teams to deliver person-centred support that empowers people to achieve their goals.
• Ensure support plans, risk assessments, and care records are accurate and up to date.
• Promote the health, wellbeing, and spiritual needs of the people we support in an inclusive way.
• Support with staff supervision, coaching, and performance management.
