Job summary

Swanton Care & Community Ltd is opening a new Supported Living Service in Colne. We are seeking a dedicated Team Leader to establish and develop the service, helping people live as independently as possible in their own homes and community.

The role requires leading a team, supporting the registered manager, and delivering high-quality, person-centred care with 24/7 support. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, across day shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a care team.
• Strong communication and empathy.
• Willingness to work across days and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of care workers to deliver high quality, person-centred support.
• Provide practical and emotional assistance to empower individuals to achieve their goals.
• Promote health, wellbeing and inclusive needs of the people supported.
• Assist with daily living tasks and maintain accurate support plans and records.
• Contribute to the development and growth of the new service in Colne and build a positive team culture.
