Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a Head of Resilience Framework and Assurance to lead governance, risk and control across Corporate Security & Resilience. The role focuses on turning regulatory expectations into practical actions, overseeing operational resilience, third-party risk, and assurance activities across UK Markets.

With senior stakeholder engagement, you will report on risk and control effectiveness, strengthen the control environment, and enable informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a regulated organisation.
• Strong knowledge of operational resilience, governance, risk and internal controls.
• Track record designing and improving governance and assurance frameworks.
• Experience leading through a complex, multi-site or matrix organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, risk and control agenda across Corporate Security & Resilience, ensuring frameworks and resilience capabilities remain effective and aligned to regulatory requirements.
• Provide insight into risk and control effectiveness, oversee operational resilience, third-party and supply chain assurance, and board reporting.
