WRK digital is partnering with a growing technology business to appoint a Head of Product Operations & Delivery. The role focuses on turning product vision into predictable, high-quality software delivery and shaping the rhythm and effectiveness of delivery in collaboration with CTO and senior leadership.

Head of Product Operations & Delivery (ProdOps)

WRK digital is exclusively partnering with a growing technology business to appoint a Head of Product Operations & Delivery.

This is a high-impact role for someone who knows how to turn product vision into predictable, high-quality software delivery.

Working closely with the CTO, Senior Product and Operational leadership, you will own the rhythm and effectiveness of delivery. You will bring structure to priorities, backlogs, engineering capacity and releases while helping a growing technology team deliver at pace.

What you'll be doing

• Owning and continually improving the software delivery framework
• Turning product ideas, prototypes and technical direction into clear, developer-ready work
• Leading sprint planning, prioritisation, backlog management and retrospectives
• Creating greater predictability around capacity, delivery and release commitments
• Coordinating Product, Engineering, QA and client delivery dependencies
• Managing delivery across onshore, offshore and third-party engineering resources
• Establishing meaningful delivery metrics and driving continuous improvement
• Strengthening the Definition of Done across testing, peer review, security and quality
• Aligning engineering delivery with customer onboarding and commercial deadlines

What we're looking for

You will bring experience leading product operations, software delivery or engineering delivery, ideally within a scaling B2B SaaS or technology business.

You will be in a senior Technology Leadership role and may currently be a Head of Product Operations, Head of Software Delivery, Head of Platform Engineering, Senior Delivery Lead, Head of Engineering, Engineering Manager or Technical Delivery Lead.

You will combine strong technical credibility with excellent delivery leadership and be comfortable working in an environment where priorities can evolve quickly.

Experience across Agile, Scrum or Kanban, backlog management, release management, distributed teams and modern software delivery practices will be important. Experience within a regulated industry such as healthcare, fintech, cyber security or another regulated or data-sensitive environment would be particularly relevant.
