Job summary

Wickes is seeking a strategic Head of Product to lead the Digital, Customer & Marketing function and transform the eCommerce platform. You will own the product vision, drive cross-functional delivery, and align with executive stakeholders to deliver growth and customer engagement.

You will champion modern product practices, manage a fusion team of technology roles, and ensure governance across product families while prioritising strategic tech debt and platform transformation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior product leadership roles within software delivery.
• Strong technical background and ability to translate tech needs into business value.
• Experience leading cross-functional and matrix/fusion teams across product lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Product and Tech roadmap in alignment with business strategy.
• Set up governance across the Product Family and ensure timely decision-making.
• Lead and develop the fusion team, balancing hiring, development and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with Product Owner, Delivery Manager and Senior Business Owner on roadmaps.
• Drive governance checkpoints, monitor KPIs, and influence product decisions.
