Job summary

Wickes is seeking a Digital Trading Executive to join the Digital Trading team at our Watford site. You’ll support growth of digital sales across wickes.co.uk, apps, and online-in-store, focusing on executing the Trading Plan on digital platforms and driving web merchandising.

You’ll gather performance insights, translate them into actions, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise campaigns, content, and site experience.

Qualifications

• Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent with 2+ years experience in digital eCommerce and website trading.
• First experience across eCommerce elements such as product discovery / search, visual merchandising, trading.
• Understand eCommerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, ATV, path to purchase) and numbers.
• Excellent planning and organisation skills with on-time delivery.
• Ability to build relationships and liaise with stakeholders.
• Understand CRO principles and how they translate to actions and testing.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the trading plan with management and colleagues in day-to-day implementations.
• Focus on a range of categories; ensure campaigns are delivered on time per brief.
• Brief, update and check content related to the Trading Plan; periodically upload/update the website via CMS.
• Work across tools to optimise website performance and grow sales with internal teams and agencies.
• Utilise analytics and insights platforms to understand journeys and propose updates to improve conversion.
