Job summary

ISR RECRUITMENT LIMITED in Tamworth is seeking a Head of PMO to oversee the Project Management Office and delivery of the programme portfolio, including both internal engineering and external customer projects.

The role formalises a PMO, maintains common delivery processes, and reports on schedule, resources, finance and risk to the Senior Leadership Team. You will lead the PMO, allocate projects, and ensure the programme meets strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Experience running a PMO and implementing project delivery processes.
Experience delivering engineering and product development projects.
Knowledge of designing, planning, monitoring and controlling programmes.
Knowledge of programme and project management methods.
Experience of SAP Business ByDesign and Microsoft Project.
Understanding procurement processes including negotiation with third parties.
Strong budgeting and resource allocation procedures knowledge.
Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to advise the senior leadership team on project progress.
Need to command respect and create a sense of community among project teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee the PMO and ensure delivery of the programme portfolio including internal engineering and external customer delivery.
Formalise and maintain a common set of project delivery processes for schedule, resource, finance and risk reporting.
Lead PMO activities, distribute projects across the team and communicate progress to the Senior Leadership Team.
