Job summary
ISR Recruitment is seeking a Head of PMO in Tamworth, Staffordshire, offering hybrid-working (x3 days on site) for a permanent role. The position oversees the Project Management Office and the delivery of the programme portfolio, aligning projects with strategic objectives and reporting to the Senior Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive PMO leadership experience, strong budgeting and procurement knowledge, and qualifications such as MSP/APM, PRINCE2 or MRICS.
Qualifications
- Experience running a PMO and implementing delivery processes.
- Experience delivering engineering and product development projects.
- Knowledge of designing, planning, monitoring and controlling programmes.
- Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to advise senior leadership on progress and escalations.
- Understanding of budgeting and procurement processes.
- Qualification: MSP, APM, MRICS or PRINCE2.
Responsibilities
- Oversee PMO and delivery of the programme portfolio.
- Lead PMO and assign projects per org structure.
- Communicate project progress to Senior Leadership Team.
- Ensure programmes deliver strategic objectives.
- Maintain common project delivery processes.
