Job summary

Moniepoint is seeking a Head of Engineering, Sales & Marketing Tools to lead the engineering efforts behind MonieCRM and related marketing tools. This role focuses on modernising a fast-growing platform used by tens of millions of users, with emphasis on reliability, financial correctness, and scalable architecture.

The candidate will oversee large engineering teams, drive architectural decisions, and coordinate with product and business leaders to deliver impact across sales and marketing tools

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years leading engineering teams
• 5+ years writing Java in production
• Experience managing managers
• Platform engineering at scale
• Legacy migrations/re-architecture to 20M+ users
• Backend in high-throughput distributed systems
• Financial correctness: wallets/ledgers/payments
• Fintech/payments background preferred
• CRM/SalesTech exposure not required but nice to have

Responsibilities

• Modernise and re-architect legacy systems to scale beyond 20M users.
• Own commissions, payouts, wallets, ledgers ensuring financial accuracy.
• Build a dependable platform for a growing agent network across markets.
• Lead a high-performing engineering org with managers and senior ICs.
• Collaborate with product and business to drive delivery and quality.
