Job summary

Moniepoint Group in London seeks a Head of Engineering, Sales & Marketing Tools to own and modernise MonieCRM, the operating system for our 50,000-strong sales network.

You will lead a large, multi-layer engineering organization, drive architecture for high-throughput, data-intensive systems, ensure financial accuracy in wallets and commissions, and partner with marketing tech including Braze to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of software engineering experience with 5+ years leading teams.
• 5+ years hands-on Java coding; not just oversight.
• 5+ years managing managers and senior engineers.
• Platform engineering experience at scale with distributed systems.
• Experience with legacy migrations and re-architecture for 20M+ users.
• Strong backend skills in high-throughput data-intensive systems in Java/Spring Boot.
• Experience building systems where financial correctness matters (wallets, commissions).
• Fintech/payments background preferred; CRM/SalesTech not required.
• Exposure to Braze or customer engagement tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee modernisation of MonieCRM and scale for 20M+ users.
• Lead a multi-layer engineering organisation with managers and senior engineers.
• Architect and maintain high-throughput, data-intensive backend systems.
• Ensure financial correctness in wallets, commissions and payouts.
• Partner with marketing/CRM tech, including Braze, to enable engagement.
