Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is expanding its UK presence and seeks a Head of Engineering, Supply Chain to oversee the software behind millions of POS devices. You will lead a large distributed engineering team, define technical strategy, and ensure scalable, reliable inventory and logistics software across markets.

The role requires deep hands-on Java experience, plus a track record of growing engineering leaders and delivering large-scale systems for fintech or regulated industries.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years leading engineering teams.
• 5+ years writing production Java code as a practising engineer.
• 5+ years managing managers and engineering leaders.
• Deep experience in supply chain, inventory or logistics software at scale.
• Fintech or regulated environments familiarity with device management in payments.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics tools.
• Lead an engineering organisation of ~25 engineers including managers, QA, SRE and Data Eng.
• Drive platformisation of inventory systems for global visibility and data integrity.
• Bridge operational practices and software systems with disciplined solutions.
• Define architecture standards, processes and metrics across squads for reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into engineering solutions.
• Hire, mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers to scale teams to 30+.
