Job summary

Pets at Home is seeking a Head of Performance Marketing to shape customer acquisition across its Retail and Services businesses. You will lead the strategy that turns marketing investment, customer insight and digital journeys into measurable commercial results.

The role is a high-impact leadership position in Marketing, Digital, Customer, Data and Commercial teams, with hybrid working (two office days per week) from the Handforth Support Office in Cheshire.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale performance marketing programmes across multiple digital channels.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to connect marketing activity to revenue, margin, acquisition costs and CLV.
• Deep expertise in performance analytics, attribution, conversion optimisation and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Defining and leading performance marketing strategy across Retail and Services.
• Owning and optimising investment across paid search, paid social, SEO, display, affiliates and emerging channels.
• Building robust measurement and attribution frameworks that demonstrate commercial impact.
• Using data, analytics, experimentation and AI to unlock smarter targeting and improved marketing effectiveness.
• Partnering with Brand, CRM, Digital, Data, Trading and Finance to drive growth.
• Leading, inspiring and developing a high-performing team.
