Job summary

Equans is seeking a Head of Operations (Private Sector) to oversee multiple domestic energy efficiency projects from tender to completion in the UK, including defects periods. You will lead Project Management, Technical and Installation teams, ensuring resource planning and strong client relationships across a broad geographical area.

The role requires proven leadership in the private sector energy efficiency market, sharp financial acumen, and in-depth knowledge of PAS 2035, PAS 2030:2023 and

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating in a management position within the Private Sector Domestic Energy Efficiency Market.
• Financial and Commercial awareness.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Good knowledge of PAS 2035, PAS 2030:2023 and MCS standards, with experience leading teams under these regulations.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant building legislation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational management from tender through to final completion, including defects periods on private sector decarbonisation schemes.
• Lead and manage the Project Management, Technical and Installation teams.
• Provide resource planning and team leadership across multiple projects.
• Collaborate with Directors to develop Equans delivery model for Private Sector Domestic Housing.
• Represent the business at stakeholder events and influence client relationships.
