Job summary

Equans is seeking a Sustainability Compliance Officer to join our Seaham team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on collating, validating and preparing PAS 2030:2023 compliance paperwork for Clients, Energy Suppliers and Accreditation Bodies, delivering within contract deadlines.

You will support the Regional Sustainability Team, advise delivery teams on energy efficiency measures, and engage with supply chain partners to ensure zero compliance failures and timely programme delivery.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the energy sector.
  • Understanding of low carbon and energy efficiency technologies.
  • Experience delivering work under Government-led incentive schemes.
  • Understand the Sustainability Sector, and the compliance requirements.
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

  • Produce all paperwork associated with installation of Energy Efficiency measures as per PAS 2030:2023.
  • Work closely with Retrofit Coordinators ensuring PAS paperwork aligns with main contract programmes.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of the sector and share insights with the regional team.
  • Provide compliance advice to regional delivery teams on energy efficiency measures.
  • Ensure zero compliance failures from submission information.
  • Ensure all Strategic Partner contractual deadlines are met.
  • Engage with key supply chain partners to support project development and delivery.
