Job summary

Equans is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a 14-month assignment in Wath-upon-Dearne. The role is full-time (37.5 hours/week) in a modern Shared Services office with a focus on procure-to-pay processes. You will handle invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and payment scheduling while supporting period-end activities.

The team values accuracy, collaboration and continuous learning, with opportunities for qualifications and career development. A DBS check is required for the role.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of working in Accounts Payable/Finance.
  • Use of Microsoft packages especially Excel.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Able to organise and prioritise own workload.
  • Demonstrate accuracy/attention to detail.
  • Experience of digital systems.
