Job summary

The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Head of Operations to provide strategic leadership for performance across multiple locations in England and Wales. You will line-manage the Deputy Head of Operations and lead hundreds of staff, shaping end-to-end service delivery, risk assurance and compliance across jurisdictions.

You will engage judges, stakeholders and senior partners to drive recovery and improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large operational teams.
• Experience in public sector or Courts & Tribunals context preferred.
• Ability to analyse statistics to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for operational performance across multiple locations.
• Direct line management of the Deputy Head of Operations and oversight of hundreds of staff.
• Lead on risk assurance, compliance and recovery planning across jurisdictions.
• Engage with Judges, stakeholders and senior partners to improve end-to-end service.
