Job summary

The Nottingham Building Society is seeking a Head of Mortgage Underwriting at our Head Office in Nottingham. This hybrid role involves leading Mortgage Origination, Underwriting and Lending Operations, shaping strategy, and driving outstanding customer outcomes.

You will lead high-performing teams, maintain robust underwriting standards, and oversee relationships with brokers, solicitors and partners. A strong track record in transformation and risk management is essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across mortgage origination, underwriting and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of responsible lending and mortgage operations.
• In-depth knowledge of MCOB, FCA requirements and financial crime controls.
