Job Title: Head of Marketing

Location: Solihull

Reports to: Managing Director

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 (DOE) + 10% Bonus

Role Overview

My client, a leading provider of sales training events and online courses, is looking for a Head of Marketing to join their growing team with over 20 years of experience to lead strategic marketing initiatives for their dynamic business. This role requires a visionary leader with data-driven decision-making power to deliver exceptional results across B2C markets. We are looking for dynamic and inspiring leaders, ready to influence growth and incentivise the team to achieve their full potential! If you have experience in yielding huge profit growth, working with high value budgets in a friendly and ambitious environment this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to drive qualified leads and revenue growth.
  • Marketing Planning: Implement structured marketing plans with clear milestones and deliverables.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and optimize a marketing budget of £1M, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Funnel Hacking: Design and refine marketing funnels to improve conversion rates and customer acquisition.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide direction, innovative ideas, and ensure successful implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-Market Expertise: Deliver impactful campaigns for B2C audiences.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering accountability and leading by example in line with company values and goals.
Requirements
  • 20+ years of marketing experience, including senior leadership roles with a strong focus on lead generation and evidenced results.
  • Proven success in SME environments with hands‑on strategic and operational responsibilities.
  • Expertise in lead generation, funnel optimization, and growth marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and automation tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Task driven over creativity and branding results motivated.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience managing large budgets and delivering measurable ROI.
