The Dorchester Collection invites applications for Head of Group & Event Planning at The Dorchester. You will lead the Events department, delivering group, corporate and social events while driving commercial results and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar position in a luxury 5 star hotel environment.
• Deep understanding of luxury business and guests.
• Highly developed interpersonal, adaptive influencing and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work across all levels and functions of the hotel under own initiative in a highly pressured environment.
• Communication is essential with strong customer service ethos.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Events department at The Dorchester; deliver group, corporate, social and special occasion events while driving revenue and guest experiences.
• Provide day-to-day leadership of the Events team, ensuring targets are met and service standards maintained.
• Develop proactive social sales strategies and build relationships with key clients and partners.
