Rexel UK Ltd is seeking a Lighting Design Engineer to design and implement lighting solutions for customers across various industries. You will ensure functionality, aesthetics and compliance while collaborating with customers, suppliers and internal teams to deliver exceptional results.

The role involves developing plans, producing detailed drawings, and conducting site surveys with ROI reporting. A strong technical background in lighting and proficiency in Relux/Dialux/AutoCAD are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with teams and suppliers.
• Experience in the lighting industry.
• Strong understanding of lighting technologies, controls and energy-efficient solutions.
• Experience presenting designs to customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop lighting plans and schemes tailored to client requirements and budgets.
• Create drawings using CAD, Relux and other software.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
• Select luminaires and controls for each project.
• Conduct site surveys and ROI reports.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
