Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates is recruiting an Head of HSEQ in Welshpool to lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across the site. The role emphasizes strong safety leadership, coaching managers, and embedding compliance while supporting quality systems and production standards.

The successful candidate will drive incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement, partnering with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior Health & Safety or HSEQ leadership role.
• Experience driving safety culture improvements in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and environmental compliance.
• Experience managing ISO management systems (ISO 45001, 9001, 14001).
• Experience leading audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership of the HSEQ function across Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Oversee audits, inspections, and external regulatory and customer audits.
• Develop safe working practices and embed quality standards across operations.
• Lead the HSEQ team and build cross-functional relationships with Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Drive continuous improvement and accountability at all levels.
