Job summary
Chase & Holland is seeking an experienced QHSE Manager to own and drive the QHSE function across two SME manufacturing sites in the Rotherham area. The role combines hands-on shop-floor activity with strategic leadership, developing health, safety, quality, and environmental practices as the business grows.
The successful candidate will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in QHSE, HSE, Quality in manufacturing
- Experience with ISO 9001/14001/45001 implementations and audits
- Strong on-site leadership and worker safety focus
Responsibilities
- Own and lead QHSE function across manufacturing sites
- Promote proactive Health & Safety culture on the shop floor
- Develop risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Lead investigations and CAPA actions for incidents
- Maintain CFR/ COSHH, PUWER compliance and training records
- Support ISO certification audits and management reviews
- Collaborate with Production to drive process improvements
