Job summary

Cranleigh STEM in Welshpool, Powys, is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead the site’s safety, health, environmental, and quality functions. You will drive compliance with ISO standards, manage audits, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the manufacturing site.

The role reports to the Managing Director and offers a senior leadership position with influence over site performance, development of management systems, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior SHEQ leadership experience in manufacturing.
• NEBOSH qualification is essential.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and audits.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site's integrated QMS.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and legislation.
• Plan, manage internal, external and customer audits.
• Lead CAPA processes and root-cause investigations.
• Act as primary contact for quality-related customer concerns.
• Develop and coach the SHEQ team; promote safety culture.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to identify improvements.
