Job summary

Cranleigh STEM & Sustainability Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced SHEQ Manager in Wales. The role reports to the Managing Director and leads the site’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality functions to ensure compliance and drive a culture of continual improvement.

You will shape management systems, coach the SHEQ team and partner with senior leadership to deliver business objectives in a manufacturing setting. On-site during probation with occasional home working thereafter.

Qualifications

• Senior SHEQ leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Experience leading internal, external and customer audits.
• Good understanding of UK Health & Safety and environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical/problem-solving skills with root-cause capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continually develop the site's integrated QMS.
• Ensure ISO, customer and statutory compliance across the site.
• Plan, manage and support audits internally, externally and with customers.
• Drive CAPA, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as primary contact for quality-related customer concerns.
• Lead Health & Safety management systems and risk assessments.
• Manage Environmental Management System and sustainability objectives.
• Monitor SHEQ performance via KPIs and reviews.
• Provide SHEQ leadership across departments and coach the team.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify improvements and deliver objectives.
