Job Title: Head of Hospitality

Location: Richmond Village Bede - Hospital Lane, CV12 0PB

Salary range: £36,839 pa & Excellent Benefits

Contract: Permanent - 40hrs

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with occasional late/weekend for functions.

As our Head of Hospitality, you’ll ensure that our restaurants and catering facilities are maintained and delivering delicious meals to the highest standard.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing, training, and developing hospitality staff, maintaining records of instructions, especially regarding equipment use.
• Managing all hospitality operations, including the village café bar.
• Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nourishing meals to residents.
• Leading staff management duties: rota management, recruitment, appraisals, and development.
• Collaborating with other departments and event organizers for special functions.
• Promoting hospitality services to maximize revenue.
• Developing and monitoring systems for kitchen areas, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Managing housekeeping & laundry services across the village.
• Liaising with the Head Housekeeper to ensure stock levels, machinery condition, and cleanliness standards.

Key Skills / Qualifications:

Experience managing a team in hospitality or catering, preferably in a care setting. Self-motivated, a great communicator, organized, flexible, and an active leader who leads by example. Due to the care for vulnerable individuals, a DBS check is required, which Bupa will cover (£40).
