Job summary

Uxbridge College invites applications for a new role: oversee the management and quality of Additional Learning Support for High Needs learners across Harrow and Uxbridge campuses, reporting to the Director of Foundation Learning.

You will lead a team, coordinate funding, claims and documentation, ensure timely access to support in line with EHCPs, and strive for high standards of learner experience and achievement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of managing additional learning support in a Further Education setting.
• Experience in assessing learners' needs and maintaining records.
• Knowledge of SEND code of practice.

Responsibilities

• Managing Additional Learning Support provision for High Needs learners within Uxbridge and Harrow Colleges and co-ordinating the delivery of support, with responsibility for all associated funding, claims and documentation.
• Ensuring that learners receive the full range of support to which they are entitled and identified within EHCPs in a timely manner and to the highest of standards
• Leading and managing a team of staff, providing them with the inspiration, direction and support they need to deliver outstanding learning support.
• Delivering against all agreed performance targets for the area, for example those pertaining to Additional Learning Support funding, Adult Skills Budget funding and recruitment, retention, attendance and achievement for learners with support needs
• You will be required to work at both Harrow and Uxbridge sites as required. This post is based full time on campus and we are unable to offer remote/hybrid working.
