Aviva plc in London is seeking a Head of GenAI Architecture to shape the enterprise AI strategy, governance, and architecture for Generative AI across the organisation.

You will partner with senior technology, data, security, risk and business leaders to deliver scalable AI capabilities while ensuring security, compliance and responsible AI practices.

This senior role offers a pathway to influence Aviva's AI roadmap and drive meaningful outcomes for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading enterprise architecture strategy within a large and complex organisation.
• Deep expertise in Generative AI and emerging AI technologies with scalable outcomes.
• Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to executives in business terms.
• Understanding of security, privacy, governance, resilience and risk in regulated environments.
• Experience building architecture teams and communities of practice.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise architecture strategy for Generative AI and emerging AI technologies.
• Establish long-term vision, roadmaps, standards and governance for AI at scale.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities delivering meaningful outcomes.
• Provide architectural leadership across enterprise AI platforms, LLMs and AI patterns.
• Mentor architecture talent and develop reusable patterns and best practices.
