Aviva plc is seeking a Head of AI Office to lead enterprise-wide AI transformation from the COO office. You will partner with the CAIO, ExCo and the Board to guide investment decisions, establish governance, and translate strategic vision into measurable value across a portfolio serving millions of customers.

You will lead a high-caliber team, shape AI strategy, and deliver board-level insight on investment, risk and performance, balancing ambition with governance and compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Significant experience in enterprise strategy or CEO/COO office leadership.
• Experience advising executive committees or Boards with concise, decision-ready recommendations.
• Strong commercial and analytical judgement across investment, performance and value.
• Ability to connect business, technology, finance, risk and external perspectives.
• AI/digital fluency and understanding of regulatory environment.

Aufgaben

• Shape Aviva’s forward AI strategy and governance for senior forums.
• Develop concise, decision-ready materials for ExCo, Board and AI Advisory Council.
• Provide integrated view of AI investment, deployment, value and risk.
• Translate regulatory, market and tech developments into strategic decisions.
• Lead the AI Office team to ensure decisions translate into ownership and action.
• Horizon scan for AI trends and regulations and provide executive briefings.
