Job description

Head of Fundraising - Mayfair (based in office 5 days)

A fabulous opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fundraiser with energy, commitment, and ideas. Join a small team within a larger organisation (65 staff) in fabulous offices in Mayfair. The role will include:

Responsibilities:
  1. Delivery on a sponsorship strategy:
    • Alleviate the net impact on revenues by covering most or all the costs of delivering a major London venue for the Foundation.
    • Develop a sponsorship prospectus, covering options over multiple tiers.
    • Identify and outreach prospective sponsorship prospects.
  2. Donor Cultivation and Stewardship:
    • Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with prospective and existing major donors, including UHNWIs, to secure substantial gifts.
    • Create tailored engagement plans for donors, ensuring personalized stewardship and ongoing relationships.
    • Support the Strategy Director in developing a bespoke stewardship plan for each of our existing and lapsed donors.
    • Align all existing collaterals with impact decks, narratives, theories of change, and audit reports to maintain a consistent tone of voice and understanding of our impact.
  3. Partnerships Strategy and Development:
    • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, including philanthropic networks, wealth management firms, and relevant organizations.
    • Develop impactful corporate partner relationships with linked brands and wider networks.
    • Support in developing a cohesive narrative for TCCF focusing on our three core pillars.
    • Collaborate with our Brazil counterparts to curate a story bank of anecdotes, case studies, content, and donor communications supporting the central narrative strategy.
    • Develop a calendar of PR moments aligned with fundraising opportunities.
Experience and Abilities:
  • Significant fundraising experience with a proven track record of securing five and six-figure gifts.
  • Experience working with UHNWIs in a fundraising context, building long-term relationships, and understanding philanthropic motivations.
  • Experience in building corporate relationships and securing event or programme sponsorship.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills to develop and implement multi-strand fundraising plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience planning and delivering high-profile fundraising events.
